Somebody really likes the new quilt...

I am in my 22nd week and feeling GREAT, in fact I find that I am feeling so well that I have a tendency to overexert myself very easily these days. There is just so much to be done. I am so ready for my shower.( In Oct.) I can hardly stand it. I get so excited about everything these days. The smallest thing that has to do with Baby Reese is just so much fun. Emily has been such a HUGE help. She asks if I need anything and helps me out when we grocery shop. We wanted to do something fun for her this weekend so, she and Brian went to the fair Saturday night and ended up getting rained on.

Daddy, Mama, and Chance will be flying home tomorrow (Monday) so please pray for them. They are having a very good time, but I am so glad they are heading home. I have missed them so much. Mama is going to be so surprised when she comes home and finds all the goodies that I got for the baby to have at her house. I got her a car seat, butterfly mat, walker, booster seat, swing, and her bouncy seat. She is not going to believe that I got all that for $65.00 at yard sales and Hey Diddle Diddle. Emily and I waited for a little over an hour and ended up with the car seat and base, butterfly mat, books, pants, and some maternity tops at Hey Diddle Diddle on SALE!

We are finally seeing some growth in our little garden. Everything planted has died except for our tomato plant. Brian and I were so shocked to see this little guy the other day. We were sure that everything was gone due to the heat, but we were wrong.

FABULOUS!

Today I received a gift that is just FABULOUS. Faye Lynn a lady that I work with made Baby Reese this wonderful quilt. It is the most beautiful quilt in the world. I love it so much. I am so excited!

It is absolutely perfect for her and her room. I know she will love it so much and spend many days and nights playing or covering up with her Mommy with it.

She is moving more and more these days and I am so overjoyed with that. She seems to be right on track according to all the books I am reading. Of course Harry Potter is my reading escape from Baby Info. We are now in our 21st week and I do not appear to be packing on a lot of excess weight, for now. Of course food has never tasted better than it has in the last few weeks but I am trying my best not to go overboard. Although I did have two SMALL butterscotch dipped cones last night, Brian has been really craving ice cream, not me. He ate a large Kit Kat blizzard and then made me order a quart of soft serve ice cream. He then informs me that when I want more ice cream tomorrow night, he will already have some. (Hello, like I don't know where to find it if I want it!!)

Robyn gave me some baby clothes, blankets, and maternity clothes last night that are so appreciated. The maternity clothes are SOOOOOOOO comfortable and fit good, for now. Mary Anne, Robyn's mom gave us a onesie that has a little pink froggie embroidered on it. I cannot wait to put her in it. It is adorable, not to mention the little froggie burp cloth Robyn got us and frame for her ultrasound picture.

Our friend Steph will be induced tomorrow so Ms. Sadie Ellis will be her soon

We are so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful friends and family. I swear I have the best friends in the world.

I got a text from Luke Faulk whose father is in the Ukraine with Daddy, Mama, and Chance telling me that they would call on Thursday but all was well and they were having a good time. They will be flying home Monday. Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers.

Registries...

Well we spent the weekend registering, and oh what fun. We were all so tired when we finally made it back home but I think we are finally registered for everything that we could think off. We had a good time registering and Emily was the scanner. She was blowing the scanner after each scan like it was a smoking gun. It was hilarious. We are now officially registered at Babies-R-Us, Target, and Wal-Mart.(We are online at these places as well.) Tara is heading up the shower planning for October. I can't wait, we found the cutest stuff.

Daddy, Mama, and Chance called around 2:30am Saturday and they arrived safely in the Ukraine. Daddy sounded very excited, but I am sure most of his excitement was the thankfulness of being off that plane. I am sure they will have a very memorable and rewarding trip.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Love you all!

The Wait is OVER...

IT'S A GIRL!

After much anticipation the wait is finally over, Baby Reese is a GIRL. We were both relieved to find that she is perfectly fine and all is well. We are all so excited to finally know and be able to really prepare for her arrival. Emily and my Mom were tickled PINK. We had our boy name picked out and now we are in search of the perfect girl name for our little princess. Ideas are welcome. I will post some scrambled letters as soon as the three of us come to an agreement.

I only gained 2lbs. this visit for a total of 11 lbs. so far. I hope I can keep this up, but food tastes 1,000 times better these days than ever before. We have made some changes to the nursery...

Let me know what you think. Please keep us in your prayers and continue to pray for SAFE, PAIN FREE DELIVERY.

Only FOUR more days and we will find out of Baby Reese is a BOY or GIRL! We have a few names in the running, of course we need to check with Emily and see what she thinks before a decision is made. We have each placed one dollar on the fridge as a bet to whether Baby Reese will be a BOY or GIRL. I bet on a BOY and Brian and Emily have bet on a GIRL. Emily wants a sister but Brian and I are hoping for a BOY. As long as we get a healthy baby that is by far the most important thing to all of us, but it has been fun. Emily first wanted a brother and now a sister. Either way I know she will be a wonderful big sister because she is already an amazing little girl. We are very blessed.

I hope that you all can make it to the cookout Saturday night, Emily will be announcing to everyone what we are expecting. She seems very excited. Brian, Emily, and my Mom will be joining me for the ultrasound on Thursday and I am so excited that we will all be there to share this together. I only wish that Jill and Lindy could join us as well, but they are very strict on the number of people in the ultrasound room. I tried to see if they would let me alternate them, but they said NO. Please, Please, Please keep in mind that Emily is looking forward to announcing this at the cookout so if you are one of the few who will find out prior to Saturday, please keep it quiet so that she can let everyone else know. We do not plan to tell many people because we want to let her do it, but we also know that we will be far to excited to keep it totally to ourselves.

Please keep us in your prayers and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday. Let me know if you will be able to make it. Love you all.

BIG Weekend!

We had a BIG weekend this past weekend. Friday night Helen brought Emily to me at work and there the fun began. We rocked it out in my office for the last few minutes I was here. For those of you who don't know Rockin' It Out is when we turn the music up really loud and rock out. We usually do this in the car with all the windows down to the Beach Boys -Surfin' USA or Kokomo-. Emily loves it. She always wants to Rock Out!

We were headed home when we received a call from Robyn who needed someone to watch Anna Claire for a few hours while they visited her Grandmother. Of course Emily and I were up for the task and we excepted. We hurried to Wal-Mart to get a few things and called Robyn to bring her on over. Just FYI... Emily is going to be a GREAT, WONDERFUL, AWESOME BIG SISTER! She was so attentive to Anna Claire. She read her a story, talked to her, and Anna Claire was even holding her hand and would not let go. It was so cute. Here is a picture of the two of them watching TV. Anna Claire was a great little tryer outer for Baby Reese's stuff. She stayed in the bouncy chair most of the time and even ended up in the crib before the night was over. Brian was so sweet just watching her and talking to her. I already knew he was a GREAT father, and now there will be another LUCKY child to call him Daddy.

After a busy night of babysitting we decided to keep the weekend going with a visit from Brenna's daughter Anna. We headed over to the 'Boro to pick her up and go to the pool. We spent to day at the pool then headed to the movie to watch the Ratatouille. Where Emily was just too cute in an outfit Tara bought her a while back that she can finally fit in to.
We spend the day Sunday Celebrating Micky's Birthday and had a blast. The girls swam for a bit with Ms. Molly. We met Bo's new girlfriend and she was very nice. Then we all laughed so hard while everyone but me rolled down the hill in the wagon. It was the BEST entertainment I have seen in years. Only a few more days and we will post some scrambled letters on the site so you can try to figure out Baby Reese's name. Love You All. Please keep us all in you prayers. My parents and Chance will be leaving July 19th for the Ukraine and I would appreciate all your prayers for a safe trip to and from for them all.
