And the winner is...

Brylee Taite Reese

Brylee Taite was 1st prize winner Saturday at the Lynchburg Frontier Days celebration. She was so precious. Helen and Rowena came to cheer her on, and take pictures thank goodness because I forgot my camera! She was up there when they called her name and gave a sweet little wave to her Big Sis and the crowd was all "OHHHH". She won a $50.00 savings bond, trophy, ribbon, and medal. We were all super excited!

Fun, Fun, Fun

Well, we have had a fun, fun, fun few days. Emily stayed with Grandma Tuesday night and then came to us! She went to my mom's during the day where she and Link wrangled up some kittens so that Daddy could give them to a man he works with, to place in his barn. She had two dog crates full of kittens by Friday afternoon.

We went to the RC Cola & Moon Pie Festival in Bell Buckle yesterday morning and were not very impressed. Perhaps we went to early, but we had a birthday party that afternoon. We left after about an hour. Then headed to the birthday party that was rained out due to thunder at the park pool. We came home and later that night as we were walking Emily met a friend of mines little girl and boy. Ashley and her kids Grace and Eric came back with us from the walk and the kids played til about 10pm. The the girls could not wait to get back together. Grace and Emily both were begging to go knock on each others doors at 8am. We had some things to take care of and then get Emily ready to go home, but Grace and Eric came by for about an hour to play before she had to head home.

Brian and I went and looked at a house and were not very impressed, so the search continues. We have a lady from down the street interested on ours, so we may not have to put it in on the market afterall. Say your prayers, because that would be wonderful for us. We have a few more that we are planning to look at next week, just to see what is out there. We do not plan to put ours on the market until after the yard sale July 11th & 12th.

Speaking of the yard sale... We have lots and lots of stuff ( I am still pricing, but do not mind early shoppers!) We plan to have it July 11th & 12th and have lots of baby items, clothes in both Emily and Brylee's sizes, adult men and womens clothing, prom dresses, toys, and household items. Please give me a call if you might be interested in stopping by early and we will work something out. We hope to have everything ready by the 4th - so that we can have early birds come by the week before the sale. Of course no early sales the 5th cause we will be hangin' with KENNY CHESNEY!!

We are planning to place the Taiter in the Frontier Days baby contest in Lynchburg Saturday so, if you are up around 830am on Saturday, stop by and check her out.

And don't forget to wish B-Rizzle (Brian) a HAPPY BIRTHDAY on Friday!!

CONGRATS!!

Well, even though they are a BAD influence on Ms. Brylee Taite. Aunt Lindy and soon to be Uncle Gregg are ENGAGED!! Gregg popped the question Saturday and Lindy of course said YES!!

They are planning a Sept. 12, 2009 wedding.

Brylee had her ten day check up at 8am and she no longer has an ear infection. She was able to get her shots and handled it very well. Love her little heart!
We had a great Father's Day and spend the day with family and ate lots and lots of good food.

Antibiotics!!

Well Brylee went today for her six month shots, but she did not get them. She has an ear infection and was given an antibiotic and told to return in 10 days. Please keep her in your prayers. Jean told us that she was right on schedule with everything including ear infections. She weighs 16lbs and is 26in. She was also given a cream because apparently when we change her diaper we were getting her to clean and the wipes are have a drying agent in them. Who knew!

Uncle Jeff is at home and is awaiting one more test result. He was admitted yesterday for chest pains.
