Update

She slept through the night and kept everything down. She woke up today and had some toast and bananas and more pedialyte. Then took about a 2 hour nap woke up saying snack snack snack so I made her a plain baked potato, bananas, and more pedialyte. She has kept everything down today and seems to feel a little better. She is still weak and you can see in hers eyes that she is not herself just yet, but we are getting there. Please continue to pray for us.

Emily went to school today and Mama is feeling better. Brian and I have our moments, but we have been very busy so I am sure lack of rest has not helped us get better any quicker. But we are all hanging in there. Thanks for checking up on us.

Love Ya!

Dr. Update

We just got back from the Dr. She was throwing up this afternoon and would not drink anything. She still has a stomach virus and we have to giver her dramamine every six hours and administer fluids every 1.5 hours. We have to call Dr. Barbara at 9pm and give her an update. If she is not drinking her fluids, we may end up back at the hospital. Please keep her in your prayers as well as the rest of the family.

Thanks and Love You All!

Stomach Virus... BEWARE IT IS GOING AROUND!

Hello All! Thanks for the many prayers that have been said over the last few days. Brylee woke up Tuesday morning throwing up and could not keep anything down. After a few hours at the office, Dr. Barbara decided to admit my girl into the hospital. She said this was a vicious cycle and she was not taking any chances. Brylee was already beginning to dehydrate. She admitted Brylee and three other children on Tuesday for fluids and observation.
We got to the hospital a little after noon and after one attempt the IV was in and Brylee jerked her arm so two more attempts were made and the IV was in and the fluids began. She was pretty lifeless the entire hospital stay but woke up around 8pm Tuesday and drank her Pedialyte and then had some Jell-o and iced lemonade Wednesday morning. She ran a low grade fever throughout the night, but she is a real trooper. Mama and I stayed with her, I was still a little sick so I was very lucky to have Mama with us.

Dr. Barbara came in and Wednesday around noon and told us we could go home. She is on a very bland diet and lots of fluids for the next few days. We got home and she played and played it was like seeing a totally different child than the one we had watched over the last day or so. She is eating well and still drinking her fluids. She has diarrhea pretty badly now, but she thinks it is very funny and just says SHEW SHEW SHEW!

We were worried that Molly may have it, but luckily she did not get to that point and was feeling better yesterday. Brian ended up getting sick Wednesday morning and then Mama called last night and she has it too. And to top it all off Emily called last night and said her tummy was a ticking time bomb and she missed school today. So please continue to keep us in your prayers and hopefully this mess will leave us alone soon.
Back from the Hospital!
