HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT JENNIFER!

Well Aunt Jennifer is officially 29 AGAIN! So Happy Birthday!

Emily is home sick and did not go to school today. She was throwing up all night, so please pray that she is better very soon.

Not a lot going on so far this week, just getting ready for Emily's party on the 9th. Hope to see you all there. I still have to mail out some invites so if you have not gotten one yet it is because I am a slacker.

My little Taiterbug is doing great, she is growing like a weed and changing every day. I just can't get enough of her. She had a mohawk this morning it was too cute.

Please keep us all in your prayers. We love you all.

Oh yeah - WELCOME BACK AUNT PATSY!

He's OK

Brian went for his follow up appt. and he is OK. The Dr. told him to cut back on his cokes and to limit his intake of chocolates and peanuts. He goes back in six weeks for a check up. The Dr. also said that it took him 34 years to create that stone and he hopes that it will be another 34+ before he has another one, if ever.

Doctors, Doctors, Doctors

Well, Brian went for his follow up with the Dr. yesterday and he is not out of the woods just yet. They have decided to refer him to a Urologist for a follow up, just to be sure there is nothing else wrong. He has an appointment with a Dr. in Murfreesboro tomorrow. So please say a prayer that everything will be OK.

Brylee followed up with the Chiro and is still improving. She goes back in two weeks and then monthly from there.

Emily told Helen the other night that she feels yucky.

My sinuses have gone crazy and I have just about lost my voice.

Hopefully we will all be good soon.

On the bright side - HELEN AND I HAVE TICKETS TO SEE KENNY CHESNEY IN JULY!! WE CANNOT WAIT, WE ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!

This too shall pass...

Well we spent the morning in the Bedford County Emergency Room. Brian woke up and was not feeling very well, so he decided to get into the shower and then still did not feel like he should go to work. I was feeding Brylee and he came and he just could not get comfortable anywhere. I went to check on him after laying her down and called my mom and Micky ASAP. He was in the floor in so much pain. For those of you who do not know Brian well, he has a very high tolerance for pain and I have NEVER seen him like this and pray I never see him like that again. Micky came over quickly and he and Brian headed to the ER while I waited for Mama to get here to watch Brylee.

When I made it to the hospital they had inserted and IV and where giving him pain medicines. He was still in a lot of pain but after serveral attempts with the pain meds he started feeling better. They started some fluids and carried him back for a CT scan. He could not lay flat for the scan for very long, but they got what they needed. Several hours later we were informed that Brian had a Kidney Stone that picked today to travel into his bladder. The Dr. said that he should be able to pass the stone due to its size but if he could not or was in an intolerable amount of pain he may need to be admitted. We came home and I went to get his prescriptions and then he rested while I got ready for work. I was on my way to get Brylee from my moms house after work when I received a call from Brian saying that he had just passed the stone. Thankfully!! He is not supposed to go back to work until Thursday and he is supposed to follow up with his Dr. then. I will keep you posted but as of right now he is back to his old self again, thank goodness!

He did not know at the time that I took this, but I got him in some comfy PJ's before he left and he was starting to get HOT in the ER and I snapped this little pic of him to post. Don't laugh because you can tell he is in pain. :)

Somebody's sittin' in Laney's chair???

Who could it be??? Of course non other that Ms. Brylee Taite Reese and for once Laney didn't seem to mind. That is of course after checking Brylee out for a few.

I had a rough night last night my sinuses are draining so bad my throat and ears were killing me. I have started to cough so hopefully this will be over very soon. My little Taiterbug had a rough day today, she was very clingy with Nanny and has a very stuffy nose still. She was sitting in her swing just talking to her Papa when Nanny went into the kitchen to start supper and Brylee did not like it one bit. Nanny came back and got her out of her swing and boom she was OK. She was fast asleep when I arrived.

Her Grandma has a schedule change at work, so we are excited to say that Ms. Brylee will soon be spending some Wednesday's at her Grandma's house. YAY!

We have her three month pictures on Saturday and if she is in a good mood we are going to try and get some of the four of us. Keep your fingers crossed.

Love you all & Jennifer get busy with the EASTER planning!

Chillin'

Well, we have just been chillin' at the house this weekend. Brylee has had a stuffy nose and Mommy has had a sore throat, so Daddy has been having fun. We have been sucking Brylee's nose all weekend and she is so silly that she opens her mouth as wide as she can trying to put the nose sucker in it. Then when you tell her how gross it is, she just smiles and thinks it is great. Here are a few pictures of Brylee chillin' over the weekend.
She keeps her fist or fingers on her mouth a lot these days. Mama thinks she may be cutting teeth. We will see. She also feels that she is to grown up to nap during the day. She will fall asleep in your arms and the minute you lay her down, she is wide awake. Afraid she might miss something, she's gonna be nosey just like her Mama.
Here you will see that she is deep in thought about what, one can only imagine.

Sittin' up watching TV (looking just like Brian and Emily when they watch cartoons)

Brylee Taite also received her first rose on Valentine's Day from her Papa and lots of Valentine's from Grandma & Granddaddy, Nanny & Papa, Uncle Chance, and Lydia & Rachel.

She goes to the Chiro on Thursday for some more head shaping and it is looking great.
Keep us in your prayers.
Love you All!

Shots

Brylee Taite had her 2 month shots yesterday. 4 shots and one oral vaccine. She did really well. I walked out to pull the car around while they gave her the shots because I AM A WHIMP, and Mama stayed in the room because shots don't bother her. Well, when I got back into the room Mama's eyes were filled with tears. It was horrible. Brylee Taite cried and was so upset. We got her to the car and she went to sleep. She was a little fussy around 7pm and then she went to sleep and slept through the night. She woke up and was all smiles this morning.

Emily is feeling better, but still has a cough. Please keep us in your prayers.

Here is Brylee telling her Papa what happened at the Dr. yesterday.

Love Ya!

Long Week...

*Emily is sick with a virus, so please be praying for her to feel better very soon. Helen took her to urgent care last night for some meds.*
Well, I am glad to see that everyone is as excited about NKOTB comeback as I am. I to saw them at Starwood and my life will never be the same. Donnie singing "OH, OH, OH she's my cover girl!!!" I will never wear any other brand of makeup for as long as I live. :)

What a fabulous way to spend a girls night out.

I went back to work this week and I don't know what was worse working or the drive to Mama's to get Brylee. I swear you would think that I never lived out there in my life. It got better towards the end of the week but boy do they live in BFE. She has been making it a point to be up to at least smile for her Mommy every morning and I just love it. Here she is on my first day back - tired, but awake.
Brylee is sleeping through the night and doing GREAT! She had her last Chiro visit on Wednesday and Dr. Barbara was in the office. She knew exactly who Brylee was, which I thought was awesome considering she has only seen her once. She held her and rubbed her head and said it looked better. She said it was still to soon to tell about a helmet but to just keep doing what we are doing. She did recommend a few more shaping treatments with the Chiro just to shape her head, no more neck cracking. She has some appt.'s scheduled for the shaping next week. Please keep praying for her.

Guess who held their GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER for the first time yesterday and was so excited.

Brylee Taite and her Great Gramps. He even got a smile out of her.

Love you All!
