Day 4...

No fiber drink today just a little probiotic restore!  So far so good still feeling more energetic and less drained at the end of every day.  Still eating well and BT and I are enjoying that a lot.  We've enjoyed a lot more grilled meats, fresh veggies and salads for dinner.  I will say to, she is eating better than she was when I was cooking as I always have.  I think she is so used to her Nanny and Papa's cooking from the 17 day diet and all those fresh salads they make that she has definately embrassed the yummy meals we have been having lately.  This has been a HUGE help for me because I am not having to try and cook something different for her at each meal.  Ag, well she'll pretty much eat anything :) and Brian, he's been at work but I did save him some leftovers that I am sure he will enjoy.

MOVING ON TO DAY 5!!!  (FRIDAY - THE WEEKEND...)

Day 3...

Day 3 was a good day I had some really good grilled chicken and veggies for lunch and dinner.  BT loved it too.  No fiber drink tomorrow!  Brian went back to yesterday so I was too busy to fall prey to any temptations and once the girls were asleep I caught up on some of my shows and then went to bed.

On to day 4!

Day 2…

Day 2 was pretty much the same as day one, I did experience a few challenges that I was able to overcome with prayer and a little help from my Bible app.  (Thank you to You Version!!)

Same plan as yesterday, and I am still tracking my meals like I did when the gestational diabetes the only good thing is I don’t have to prick my fingers!

I made the mistake of letting Brylee Taite pick out some things that I knew would be tempting at the store the other night and sure enough just knowing they were in the house made it a bit more difficult last night.  Who knew cheese puffs could sound so darn good at 8pm!  I was feeling very tempted to just go and have a few, I mean really what would that hurt…  But the more I thought about it the more I realized that “just a few” would turn in to half the bag most likely. J  So as I began rocking my sweet baby girl to sleep for the 4th time last night (teething is rough stuff), I decided I needed to  find some scriptures to help me.  I have started a new plan a 21 day challenge called Made To Crave so I decided to review a few of the scriptures I had read from days 1-17 to see if any of them helped.  And how fitting was this one…

1 Corinthians 10:13-17

New Living Translation (NLT)

13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

Needless to say, I did not get the cheese puffs and survived Day 2 on target!!

Prayers as I begin Day 3!

Day 1

The first day of the challenge went much better than I expected.  The Spark is GREAT!  Tons of energy and I do not believe my blood pressure was affected at all.  (This was the only concern my Dr. warned me about with the challenge, that the Spark could affect my BP).  The fiber drink, though dreaded, was not very bad to taste either.  So all in all, yesterday was good, I really feel more energized and better in general already.  I guess just knowing that I am eating better helps.  The fiber drink isn’t really bad at all and the recipes sound good.  I went to the store last night and got more of a variety of things to eat.  The worst part for me was the herbal cleanse tablets last night they are big and have that smell to them. So far this is very similar to the diet I maintained when I had gestational diabetes with Adalee Grace.

On to Day 2…

It's a GIRL!!

If you haven't heard we are having a GIRL! She is due Feb. 26, 2012. We couldn't be more excited. She was a little uncooperative during the ultrasound on Oct. 12th so we are scheduled to have another one Nov. 10th and hopefully they will be able to get all the measurements they need and we will get to see our sweet angel once again. Brylee Taite and Emily are very excited for a baby sister too! Now we are in search of nursery furniture and bedding.

So since it has been awhile, I am currently 22 weeks pregnant. I have experienced extreme nausea with this one but I was not sick like I was with Brylee, just a walking case of nausea for 3 months. I am feeling good, with only headaches for the most part and very tired. She has begun kicking and moving around a lot over the last few weeks. I have only gained 1lb so far and Dr. Moore is very pleased with that. I am sure that I will blow up soon, but let's face it she had plenty of room to grow up until now (LOL)!

Thanks for checking in and I will try to keep this up to date.

We are also in search of the perfect name for this little one... any suggestions??
