To pierce or not to pierce, that is the question???

To pierce or not to pierce, that is the question???

Well, I had my ears pierced at a young age and I am thinking of having Brylee Taite’s pierced soon. Everyone says that they don’t seem to hurt as badly if done at her age and she will not bother them as much.

So, I want to hear what you think? Should we pierce or wait??
Brylee can't wait to hear your thoughts!

My vote is no. I didn't have my ears pierced until my 5th birthday, when I was old enough to ask to have the pierced. I plan to wait until Anna Claire asks to have her's pierced. If she never asks, which I'm sure she will, then she won't get them pierced.

Well, you asked,,, so here goes. I've always thought that CHILDREN look cheap with pierced ears. They are kids,,, not grown-ups. That's a decision they should make as a adult. I finally let Heather get hers pierced for her 12th b/day. I never cared to get mine pierced and didn't till I was 34. I know alot of people think it is "so cute",,, YUK!!! NOT!!

I say wait and let her ask to have them pierced. Emily doesn't have hers pierced either. When Molly Kate asks to have hers pierced I plan on making a BIG day out of it. A girl's day to the spa..manicures, pedicures, earrings, and a pink boa to match. LOL! Isn't that insane that I'm planning a party so far in advance.

I would wait if it was me. I remember I got mine done when I was around 7. I love the pictures of her they are so cute especially the one in the sunglasses.

Well with all the no's I am almost afraid to state mine. I done Rochell's when she was a baby. I figured she would want them done so I did it when she was little so it would keep her from playing with them. And even in pink people would ask me boy or girl...duh!!

I took my niece when she was older and we ended up having them done a couple of times. She didn't want to leave them alone. She would take them out and they'd grow back and we'd have to do it again. So it's best to either do them when she is to young or old enough. At baby stage she won't fuss. Rochell got her cartliage done and babied about them hurting. Just don't let her do a second until she is an adult. I done my second & third when I was a teen and now I hate it.

Choices, choices Mommy ...LOL!!

Love you

I am waiting on my girls. My niece Cora has hers pierced and she looks so cute. Lydia saw them and was amazed but never ask for hers to be done. Ultimately everyone has an opinion but you have to live with it.

I had Cora's ears pierced on her 3rd birthday. She really thought she was special and loves her earrings...but she rarely ever messes with them. I will have Mae's ears pierced at 3 too. She may be a different story!

Brylee Taite is a DOLL!
