Baby Reese at 11 Weeks!

My Pregnancy This Week

Hello, Misty!
Your fig-size baby is now fully formed — measuring 1 1/2 inches long and weighing a quarter of an ounce. His skin is still transparent, allowing his blood vessels to show through. Some of his bones are beginning to harden. His fingers and toes have separated, and he may soon be able to open and close his fists. He's busy kicking and stretching, but because he's still so small, you won't feel any of his aquatic workouts for another month or so. As your baby's diaphragm develops, he may also start getting the hiccups.

We will hear the heartbeat THURSDAY!!! I will keep you posted!

Happy Mother's Day To ME!

Well I got an early Mother's Day gift, I guess you could say. Brian went by Dr. Moore's office a week ago and they gave me a big bag full of packets, magazines, and samples of pre-natal vitamins. She told me to try them until I found something I liked and that is what she would prescribe for me. Well LUCKY me, Brian and I decided to start out taking the ones that said they helped with morning sickness. (Imagine that!) I take two pills at a time, one is the pre-natal vitamin and the other is a gel-cap. The first few days I saw no change but after that WOAH! I was not getting sick the minute I swallowed the pill anymore and I have gone three whole days without feeling nauseous.

We go Thursday to hear the heartbeat and I could not be more excited. My mom, Lindy, and Brian will be joining me for this special day. So please keep us in you prayers, and pray that Baby Reese will be a healthy baby!

We re-decorated a room for Emily this past weekend - no pictures until she sees it first! Then I will show it off.

Love You All & Happy Mother's Day!

Baby Reese at 9 weeks

Below is an update of Baby Reese's progress at 9 weeks.

Your baby is nearly an inch long — barely the size of a grape — and weighs just a fraction of an ounce, but he's poised for rapid weight gain now that his basic physical structure is in place. His embryonic tail is completely gone, and the development of his body parts — including organs, muscles, and nerves — is kicking into gear. His eyelids are fused shut and won't open until 27 weeks. His upper lip is fully formed, and his mouth, nose, and nostrils are more distinct. Your baby's sex organs are present now but won't be discernable as male or female for another few weeks.
It is just amazing to me that something so small has been making me so SICK! I just cannot get over that. I have had a pretty good weekend so far, thankfully. We did a little shopping and are preparing to make Emily's bedroom an underwater paradise. Hopefully we will get the painting done next weekend or shall I say Brian will get the painting finished. Then I can take over!! He spent the weekend staining the fence and boy does it look GREAT.

He is my SUPERMAN!

SHE'S HERE!!!

Anna Claire Pennington

4/26/2007

7 lbs. 5 oz.

20.5 inches

Ms. Anna Claire is finally here!!! Mother and daughter are doing GREAT!!! She is absolutely wonderful. She is so sweet and precious. I have been so sick lately that I did not get to be there for her arrival but left work a little early and made it this afternoon. I swear Murfreesboro has never seemed so far away. When I arrived she was in her Mommies arms just waiting for her Aunt Misty to arrive. Here she is in my arms doing what she did the entire time I held her. Man I cannot wait for her to come home. Robyn lives right beside my work, so I am thinking that will be a great place for my lunch breaks!
