Swimmin'

OH YEAH BABY - WE GOT A POOL!!! :P

The girls had fun splashing around, and I swear it looked bigger in the store! Emily said it was way to small, but she managed to lay down for just a bit to relax before Claire arrived. Claire was splishin' and splashin' everywhere. She managed to get in and out of the pool 5,000 times, taste grass, and dog food before she left. Oh the things we have to look forward to!
She was so cute, Brylee just watches her and all the things she can do.

Sick Baby

Mrs. Joe Dirt
Chance decided to place his Joe Dirt wig on Brylee!

Well, we are going to play it by ear, but we may have to take our little TaiterBug to the Dr. tomorrow. She has a little cold in her eye and it just keeps running along with her little nose. She went to bed around six thirty and just woke up crying. She wrapped her little arms around me just a second ago and went back to sleep. I have never felt so helpless in all my life. So please say a little prayer for Baby Joe Dirt and hopefully she will feel better soon.

Thanks,

MA MA MA MA MA

MA MA MA MA MA

Yep, that’s what my little darling is saying now. If she gets tired, upset, or mad its all MA MA MA MA MA!!

We went to Mama Rhonda’s yesterday to cookout and Brylee was attacked at the door with crazy talk, smiling faces, hugs, & kisses. Heaven knows what she thinks when she is around us all, but I would say she is thinking these people are NUTS!!

She had a BLAST this weekend at the pool. She hung out with Claire, soaked in her pool, and kicked around in Mr. Crabs. She was so funny. She is going to like swimming I have no doubt. Grandma stopped in to visit her and see the little fish in the water. She is truly priceless.

We kept her good and lubed up so that she would not get sunburned, but silly Mommy forgot about herself and is as red as Mr. Crabs! Oh well, lesson learned – again this year!

Love you all!

FANTABULOUS WEEKEND!

Brylee Taite & Emily eatin' pizza!

We had a FANTABULOUS weekend this past weekend.
But before I get started Susan there is a song about "My frog boots" on Noggin and the kids are sportin' Ethan's boots. I was rollin' when I saw it.

Emily and I started out by visiting Gramps in the hospital. He is doing very well, thanks to all your prayers. Then we headed over to Mama Rhonda's to get Brylee's pictures. Then to El Mexico to pick up dinner (by this time we were STARVING!!)

Gramps was doing better Saturday morning, but Daddy was not comfortable leaving him and us all going to his company picnic at Lake Winnie, so he stayed with Gramps and Me, Brian, Emily, Brylee, Mama, and Chance headed to the Renaissance Festival. It was a blast. We got there a little after noon and went to the booth, Emily rode rides, and I got a couple Henna tattoo's. Gotta download the camera pics before you can see them all. The we watche the jousting event which was awesome. No time to tour the castle because the line was to long, but we will next year. We all had so much fun, I am sure this will be an annual event.

Sunday we headed to the Chuck and had a ball. Emily won Brylee a balloon off of one of the Chuck E Cheese slot machines. They were so sweet. Emily gave Brylee 1,000 kisses this weekend and kept saying she is going to be just like me when she grows up.

Love You All!
Keep Mary Lou in your prayers and Patsy while she is away!

WOOOHOOO!

My First Mother's Day was GREAT! We went to church, then to Uncle Bud's, and then cooked out at the house. It was so wonderful. Jill gave us all beautiful hanging plants that I just love. Brylee Taite was on her very best behavior, as always, and made the day spectacular. She is such a blessing and after only five months, I could not tell you what I did without her in my life.

And as for this weekend... We are planning to attend the TN RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL. We can't wait. If you think you may like to join us, let me know. It is Pirate Invasion weekend. ARRRGGGGHHH!

Happy Mother's Day!

Well I got some early Mother's Day surprises. Of course I have mentioned my new swing which we all LOVE. Especially someone in particular. Can you guess who????

I also got a beautiful surprise Friday. I took the day off and received a call from my cousin Leanne at Flower's For Keeps, telling me that I have a delivery! She knows I LOVE FLOWERS and they had delivered them to work and since I was not there she had them go back and get them so that she could call me. Well, I was a little confused as to why Brian would have sent me flowers when he knew I was off. Well I was wrong, they were not from Brian. They were a wonderful Mother's Day surprise from Emily, Helen, and Rowena. Aren't they just fabulously gorgeous!!

And for those of you that want to be a helper with Brylee Taite's future... She is now the proud owner of her very own checking account. Please feel free to deposit $$$ anytime.

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY... MONEY!

As I was leaving Wal-Mart today I got a call from Rochelle and shared a funny story with her about Brylee's visit to Wal-Mart. Brian was taking Emily home from the birthday party. We go in and I go to the baby toy aisle and I place a toy in font of her and put it back she cries, I give it back and she is happy, take it away, and she cries. Needless to say the toy is on her car seat now. Rochelle thought it was funny so I figured you all would too.

I also wanted to include a new pic of Lindy and Gregg.

Updates

Looks like Chance is going on home bound for the remainder of the school year. Hopefully Ms. Barton (our sister Lindy) will get to be his home bound teacher, since she lives next door and already has some other home bound students. I went over last night to get Brylee and Chance shined a flashlight on his throat and it was terrible. I have never seen anything like it. It was like rolls and rolls of swelling that once were covered looking like cauliflower. It was nasty and Mama said it looked great compared to the way it was. You can already tell he has lost quiet a bit of weight.

His girlfriend Mary went for her Mono test the other day as well. So we will see.

Daddy finally went to the Dr. today and they believe he may have Lyme Disease. He does not recall being bitten by a tick nor has he had any on him, but they are running more tests just to be sure of what it is. He will have his results on Monday.

And the Taiterbug is a Rollin’ Queen. She does it now and then looks around like – “Gosh this is so easy, why did it take me so long to do this??” She and I went out and sat on my new swing that Brian, Emily, and Brylee Taite got me for Mother’s Day. (Yes I get my presents early!) We love it. I can’t wait for Em to see it this weekend. Emily and Brian always play in the backyard, but we can’t see them good from the deck, but now we will have a front row seat. She just sat there kicking her feet and dangling them around. She loved it.

I also bought two bug wind chimes because she LOVES them and put them on the ends of the swing. She just watches them. I have got to get some to just hang from the trees because she looks around towards the noise and just watches them. So if you know anyone who is getting rid of some give me a shout and we will take them as long as they still make a sound.

We all are starting to HATE 3rd shift. Of course we are always thankful that he has a good job though! I am not sleeping and neither is Brylee. Brian is so tired and his sleep patterns are all off track especially when it come to the weekends. My friend Robyn said her Dr. gave them paperwork about babies not sleeping well because they are suffering from separation anxiety and I can tell you without a doubt Brylee is missing her Daddy just as much as he is missing her.
